11 hires in 10 weeks to support an R&D Project

Challenge

A developer of complex electronic systems in Hampshire were looking to expand their R&D function to meet the both the demands of a new critical project for a US customer and a large investment in new product development. They had been struggling to recruit experienced staff due to the technical demands of the work and scarcity of local talent.

Solution

Morgan Gray took in depth specifications for positions across Mechanical Design, Software and Electronics. We jointly agreed a strategy of sourcing both experienced contractors to start the work immediately and to permanently recruit recent Graduates to provide long term stability.

Utilising our extensive network of professional contractors, we recruited and onboarded four contractors and seven permanent staff within 10 weeks of commencing the project. This has resulted in a significant increase on project deliverables via a blend of short terms and long term talent.
