Contract resource to complete an installation project

Challenge

A multi-national pharmaceutical manufacturer were installing a new production line at their main UK site. They were looking for a solution for the project to be managed including installation, commissioning, and validation. They had been quoted a price from an external contractor to manage the project that was outside of budget. The decision was made to manage the project internally with the assistance of external contractors.  

Solution

Morgan Gray were asked to look at assembling a contract resource within a pre-defined budget. With assignments sitting outside IR35 we utilised a network of contractors we had worked with before to fill the 3 required gaps in Project Engineering and Validation. The assignments were undertaken in full, to budget and fully compliantly - resulting in the overall project being completed ahead of schedule.
