Technical Manager

A market leading organisation in the FMCG Industry is seeking a Technical Manager to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in Hampshire.

The Technical Manager role will sit within the pack house and will be responsible for the ongoing adherence and commitment to high quality and the maintenance of Quality standards in line with BRC accreditation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Champion Food Safety, Site Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance across the business.
• Lead the site HACCP team, & maintain the plan through regular reviews
• Lead and develop 3rd party Certification standards.
• Manage the Internal Audit programme and Food Safety Culture for the site (Experience with fresh produce would be desirable)
• Manage document control and update technical policy documents.
• Ensure Food Safety, Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental management systems are embedded and maintained

In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have proven experience in managing quality standards and procedures within food manufacturing. You will have managed and overseen successful BRC audits and as such have experience of dealing with major retailers. A formal HACCP qualification is also required.
