A market leading automated manufacturing organisation is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in Hampshire.

The Multi Skilled Engineer role will sit within the Engineering team and be responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance activities across a fast paced manufacturing environment utilising special purpose machinery including robotics, hydraulics and working on equipment feeding raw materials in to the facility from height.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain the manufacturing process equipment for minimal downtime of equipment. In both reactive and scheduled maintenance.
• Complete preventative maintenance work orders as per schedule.
• Assist in setting up safe operating procedures for maintenance.
• Performs technical / operating duties within maintenance per regulations, employing all relevant procedures and record storage / logging.
• Carry out high level maintenance on equipment not in use.
• Responsible for ensuring workshop / work area is clean, tidy and HSE compliant.
• Always comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

This role operates on a double day shift Monday to Friday as follows - 

Week 1 - 6am - 2pm

Week 2 - 2pm - 10pm

In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have proven experience as a Multi-skilled (Electrical and Mechanical) Maintenance Engineer, providing both pro-active and reactive maintenance within an automated process environment or other medium to high-volume environment.
