Principal Embedded Software Engineer

Job description

A global, world leading organisation is seeking a Principle Embedded Software Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in Hampshire.

The Principle Embedded Software Engineer will be involved at all stages in the development of the companies innovative and high-tech product range.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing new and exciting technology
• Developing high quality code for the high technology product line
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean and efficient code
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
• Provide technical leadership within a multi-disciplined development and test team
• Working closely with engineering teams in Europe, Asia and the USA to develop new product features

In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have a proven background as a Software Engineer with excellent C++ and Embedded Linux experience. In addition to this candidates must be degree qualified in Software Engineering or a similar subject. It would be advantageous to have knowledge in any of the following areas: QT, FreeRTOS, Mutlithreading Design, GUI, STM32, ARM, Android, C programming.
