Senior Process Engineer
Job description
A global organisation is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site near Stirling.
Working in chemical manufacturing environment the Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for leading process optimisation activities, implementing manufacturing improvements, and defining, leading and executing capital projects.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Implementing best practice process design changes to effect optimum processing costs, safety and reliability;
- Analysing manufacturing KPI’s to identify and implement improvements;
- In conjunction with other key stakeholders, preparing and agreeing project definition and project plans;
- Manage assigned projects throughout the project life-cycle;
- Obtaining equipment and installation quotations and select appropriate vendors for the supply of equipment and labour;
- Learning and becoming SME in process safety.
In order to be considered for this position candidates need to hold a degree qualification in Chemical Engineering. In addition to this, candidates need to have proven experience as a Process Engineer in a 24/7 continuous process environment such as chemicals or pharmaceuticals. It would be advantageous to have project management or process safety experience.
