Job description
A global FMCG organisation is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in London.
Working in a complex manufacturing environment the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager will be responsible for Enhancing and embedding the safety culture, so it becomes everybody, every action, every day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Improving regulatory compliance
- Reducing the number of minor accidents
- Driving and embedding improved risk assessment and review for equipment and processes
- Ensuring the site’s compliance with company, customer and regulatory body HS&E requirements
- Ensuring effective risk assessment, SSOW and PUWER management with regular and frequent reviews
- Reducing energy
- Deliver change to support the climate change levy mandate.
In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have demonstrable experience of improving Health and Safety within an automated food manufacturing environment. In addition to this candidates need to have proven ability in driving change to the health and safety mind-set. Candidates also need to hold a professional accreditation such as Nebosh, Iosh, Coshh, and have a strong regulatory understanding i.e. RIDDOW, PUWER, Legionella etc.
