A market leading Life Sciences organisation is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in Worcestershire.

The Multi Skilled Engineer role will sit within the Engineering team and be responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance activities across a fast paced clean room manufacturing facility that are rapidly growing and are set to install three new production lines in the coming months. This will be an exciting opportunity to get involved with the installation and snagging of brand new machinery as well as work on day to day maintenance of existing specialist equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Respond to breakdowns of all factory, office and laboratory equipment.
• To ensure all maintenance documentation is kept up to date .
• Writing and working maintenance schedules and Standard Operating Procedures .
• Design, build and operation of electro mechanical test apparatus.
• Carry out high level maintenance on equipment not in use.
• PLC fault finding, PLC architecture and hardware, instrumentation development & configuration
• Always comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have proven experience as a Multi-skilled (Electrical and Mechanical) Maintenance Engineer, providing both pro-active and reactive maintenance within an automated process environment or other medium to high-volume environment.
